Karatas Yarn began its journey in 1995 as a small family-owned business in Kahramanmaras and today stands among Türkiye's leading yarn producers, operating three separate facilities with a combined annual capacity of 55,000 tons and an export network reaching more than 30 countries.

Since its founding, our company has blended its deep technical know-how in ring, open-end, compact and melange yarn production with a vision of sustainability. Our production lines feature the latest generation machinery from global pioneers such as Rieter, Marzoli, Schlafhorst, Saurer and Trützschler; every lot targets international standards of quality and continuous improvement.

Sustainability is in our DNA
Our Facility 3, commissioned in 2018, is one of Türkiye's first integrated examples of recycled polyester (rPET) fibre production. This GRS-certified line returns 1.2 billion PET bottles annually back to the textile chain. Our OEKO-TEX 100, BCI, GRS, RCS, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications document our environmental commitment.
